About 

Robert’s background in community outreach and his passion for theatre and the arts have helped to inform a body of work with strong emphasis on community and public projects.

At Perkins Eastman Architects, PC, Robert gained critical experience working on several educational facilities in the Tri-State area including Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, CT. Working as an interior designer at Tihany Design, International, Robert focused primarily on the public spaces for a new resort and hotel in Cape Town, South Africa. Currently, as Project Architect and Project Manager at PKSB Architects, PC, Robert oversees a number of projects including renovations of Historic Landmarks and the design of new and renovated Religious Facilities. Robert is a registered architect in the State of New York and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.

Principal in charge of Preservation and Private Development projects.
Manage a team of 5-6 employees working on multiple projects
simultaneously.

Provide design direction to project staff . Make presentations to clients,
stakeholders, public agencies, and local Community Boards.

Manage coordination across disciplines. In cooperation with fi ling
representative, guide project through approvals at all applicable
government agencies. Direct liaison with Landmarks Preservation
Commission staff for all projects requiring LPC review.

Attend weekly construction progress meetings. Review shop drawings
and submittals. Guide projects through closeout process at relevant
government agencies.

Develop and write proposals, marketing literature and overall fi rm
identity. Mentor junior staff , often serving as AXP Supervisor to aspiring
Architects.

Freelance set designer for several theatre companies throughout the city. Credits include 'The Drowsy Chaperone,' 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest,' and '42nd Street.'

Developed presentation and design drawings for public spaces of a new hotel and resort in South Africa. Managed coordination with local architects and lighting designers. Designed custom furniture and millwork details.
