After realizing there was no sofa bench designed perfectly for our apartment in Oakland, CA, I decided to take up the task of designing our very own. The purpose of MODular Bench is to provide a flexible, expandable, and exquisite seating sofa bench for small spaces. The bench expands from an "I" shape into an "L" shape, providing storage space beneath, a cooler under the corner seat, a bookshelf and a place to set the morning tea.
