Planika Fires together with Res Italia and Caccaro will be hosting an amazing exhibition as part of this year’s Milan Design Week, from the 13th to 19th of April 2015. “The Line - a design foundation merging Italian style with limitless flames” presentation will explore the topic of linearity in design and the ways it can be integrated into projects.

A simple line can be expressed in multiple variations of shapes, numbers and meanings. It symbolizes stability, security, harmony and movement from past to future. The line is able to divide and connect simultaneously. Inspired by its diversity of meanings, Planika returned to the beginnings of design. Partnering with major design studios, we modified the definition of both line and fire creating a tool that gives projects unique patterns and forms.

Specifically for the Milan Design Week, Planika created an infinite long line of fire fitted into a piece of furniture. Being completely customizable in terms of measurements and finishes, the fireplace reflects a tribute to the greatest designs without limitations.

The fireplace can be operated with a single smart device or remote control, increasing user’s comfort. It is perfect for architects and interior designers as it provides unlimited arrangement options. The versatile, linear fire can be wall-mounted, recessed
in a wall or used as a see-through or free-standing fireplace.

Blending into the European contemporary design, Planika has reached perfection through creation of endless lines of fire.
