In January 2001 I obtained my Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) (Spain). Subsequently, I have been working for twelve years in the construction sector in Spain both as a freelance and as a member of an architecture practice. Mainly, I have been involved in the design and construction of new buildings and the refurbishment of old buildings. I also have significant experience in landscape, urban planning and interior design. I am currently working as a freelance architect and as an urban assessor for a local city council in Spain.
As I am really interested in architecture from a design concept basis I am doing a PhD focused on this area to broaden my knowledge. I have also written articles that have been published in architecture journals and I am also member of the committee board of the online journal “Circuito de Arquitectura”. I have lectured and made speeches at conferences hosted by the Art University of Lleida and at the Catalonia Architects Council (COAC).
