Verano Swimwear

Use an existing building to design a retail space for a small fashion line.

Our group chose swimwear to feature custom-tailored clothing with Brazilian inspired cuts and colors. The shape of the swimsuits drove the design and the layered casework should inspire customers to layer their look, to entice them to buy more than just the swimsuit, but the sarong, hat, sunglasses and other goods. The glass runway gives a linear look to the store and provides a catwalk to host fashion shows. The second floor provides a more custom approach then the off-the shelf designs of the season. Customers may choose their fabric and tailor their swimwear, similar to choosing a custom wedding dress.
