Porous Entity

We were assigned to create a 3D printed object (with a minimum volume of 4 in3) that “exibits porous qualities,” such as holes, waves, bumps, etc. I wanted to take full advantage of the capabilities of 3D printing, and create something I’d be hard-pressed to make otherwise. For this, I chose to take a triangular pyramid, twist each point, and then to remove a spherical space from the center.
