i wanted to give a face to the school, making it a landmark among the neighborhood. i also created a series of visual interactions between both the public and the students in the school, as well as between the students within the building.  the two existing buildings were clad in brick overwhelming the corner with there massive presence.  with the use of pre-oxidized copper panels, the façade would carry a range of greens that would compliment the shades of reds from the brick.
