University of Notre Dame - Computer Cluster Renovation

In the spring of 2008, I along with a team of two other students, were requested to consult with the University of Notre Dame's Office of Information Technology for the renovation of a computer cluster in the LaFortune Student center. This was one of the proposals for the client.  We south to create a space that was more inviting and also on the cutting edge of technology, appealing to the college demographic.  After meeting with Herman Miller for ideas and samples, we created a design that called for a series of 'pods to allow students to work with sufficient space as well as foster collaboration.  Our designs also called for the deployment of new lighting fixtures.

With the final construction, most of our ideas were put into effect.  Each original 'pod' was broken down in order to facilitate ease of mobility.  Construction was completed in 2011.
