Full refurbishment of a three bedroom Mews house in the trendy area of Chelsea, London, UK to a very high specification finish.
The project involved a complete layout re-design to include staff facilities, children’s bedroom, large open plan kitchen & living space, master bedroom with open plan dressing area and an en-suite. The specification is high end luxury with a modern approach. A prominent feature of the house is the pre-cast concrete spiral staircase which links the ground floor up to the second floor. The palette of
materials ranges from concrete, stone, wood, Eco-glass, lacquer, metal all within the white hues.
Responsibilities included managing the project from a later stage due to a colleaugue leaving the office. This involved liaising with the clients, various consultants and the main contractor on a regular basis. I also had input in minor design details during the construction process. Additionally, a key stage that I oversaw during the project was the ‘Post Occupancy’, once the clients moved into the property.
