1 _Removing extensions from the old 'Palacio del Buen Retiro', a Royal Palace in Madrid the scarcely retain two major halls, an access and two towers of the building that once was. Now is full of added parts from different ages that should be cleaned looking for the more original state, recovering its values as illumination, ventilation, aperture and the longitudinal use of the 'Salon de Reinos', one of the main lounges.

2 _Raising the towers: A new last floor is created in order to complete the program. This new floor can not interrupt the views of the towers, that they are a milestone from the building in the city.

3 _Creating a new connection between the two buildings as once they were connected. The new Connection-Building is the main purpose of the intervention, giving unity to the older buildings, controlling the shape of the plaza in front, adding more space and creating a new entrance for the complex.

4 _The 'Cason del Buen Retiro' and 'Salon de Reinos' are owned by the 'Museo del Prado' in Madrid, but this two buildings are empty and without any use today. The goal is to transform them into the 'Museo del Prado' Foundation as a resource to spread the culture and gain benefits.
