The work is a research about the quality of public space / commercial night in Milan. From taxonomic survey conducted on the main radial constitute the city from the ramparts, the objective is to demonstrate, through specific cases that it is not enoughs to build a nice club to be successful in most case, but the shape of urban space or the boundary conditions imposed by the city itself (parking, green, street furniture, monuments, equipment) have a large influence on the social dynamics related to it. We can also say with reason that people are unconsciously drawn to certain urban locations rather than others. Our objective was to investigate the reasons and try if possible to ascribe the rules that could in future help in the design of these kind of spaces.
