Renovation of a 4,000SF 1969 Norman Jaffe Residence and integration of an additional 4,000SF of new construction. After a storm that generated coastal erosion that threatened to take the house, the ocean front structure was moved 350 feet inside the 30 acre property. Once in its new location in a potato field, the new challenge of the project was to bring back the original condition of the "house sitting on a dune". The concept was to create a "man made dune" with the additional program required for the growing family while minimizing the impact and maintaining the original integrity of the Jaffe house.
