Boxerville

A place to work where sharing is simple, open, mobile and sexy. It’s an ideal place where unicorns roam free and money grows on trees...

The Box offices are like no others. It is a place that embraces the quirky, fun-loving culture of this phenomenal company. They are redefining how the world shares work and as such they now have a home that redefines how people work.

As you enter the main entrance, the “Meet & Greet” lobby is designed to carry the energy and buzz of the box culture within the office right out to the front door, as Boxers come tumbling out of the spiral slide that connects the second floor right to the lobby. As you travel deeper into this office land of almost mystical culture, you pass along the way “Landmarks” that highlight events or icons of the Box history and culture. These Landmarks also serve as part wayfinding and part learning tools.

You might also stumble upon an “Oasis” which is a place to gather, eat, drink celebrate or collaborate, or possibly find a “Park” is a place to get away and to preserve "Focus Time". The open work or bench areas are punctuated by “Fire Pits” that serve as team meeting areas. And all of these areas are connected with an internal network of highways with dedicated scooter lanes. The in between spaces become areas of unplanned meetings, where collisions happen, collaboration occurs and new ideas float into being.

A major component of the look and feel of the space is due to the creative use of ceilings and lighting. Multi-colored "clouds" or floating ceiling panels. These highlight the casual group work areas and give a quirky fun feeling to these open flexible team zones.

The lighting systems are both designed to highlight the different zones through the focused illumination of "highway zones with their billboards, landmarks and feature walls. Neon-like light sticks exude a soft blue glow to highlight various areas that have a ephemeral or fantastical gathering areas.

Multi-colored "Mushroom" and "Star" pendant lights denote focused gathering places and highlight featured social zones, such as the Lobby Café and Boxer Hall, the large Family Multi-Purpose are on the ground floor.
