New Asian bistro chain with Iron Chef Mori Moto's signature. The work actually involves creating the flagship restaurant - a building in South Windsor, CT - and a series of shopping mall stores. The first one to get built, in which I worked through construction site visits - is located at Tysons Corner Mall, in Maryland. The Design key elements are the three different types of bar the space evolves around: the sushi, the robata and the main bar. Each one is based on very strong elements from Asian culture: ice, fire and water (translated as translucency).
