This project originated from a design competition against many casino operators in the quest for ownership of an Iowa Gaming License. Thru several years of developing this project, Tom designed a Casino Hotel Facility for the Isle of Capri, which won them Ownership of their fifth license in the State of Iowa. This project is unique with the co-operating land-owner of a water theme park called Lost Island Entertainment. The Isle’s portion of the project consists of a 200 room hotel with suites, a 70,000 s.f. land-base pavilion building and a 50,000 s.f casino facility over a 10 acre water basin. To compliment this development there are water parks, RV camp grounds, botanical gardens, indoor water entertainment and museums.
The estimated construction cost for the casino hotel facility is approximately $65,000,000.
