The new Italian Design Museum will be devoted to Italian production in the field of industrial design from 1945 to present time. The design of the museum is influenced greatly by major fields of Italian industrial design such as fashion, furniture and automotive. It reflects the many Italian design attributes such as sleek and simple. Due to the minimal footprint of the building, open space along the river is maintained and enhanced.
