The "Backroom" is a unique nail salon in the back of the CD Store in Harlem, NY. The concept was to create a lounge that functions as a nail spa with convertible chairs and that can be transformed into an event space after hours. The space is defined by an undulating string curtain and reflects the glamorous and traditional ethnic culture of Harlem.
