Campeã Residence

The concept idea of this project born from an approach to the understanding and respect for the existing topography, which is intended to add value through the new architectural object insertion. Thus, the house recovers that knowledge that has been constructed on our common memory of the act to deploy. It has been in this precise knowledge that it founds the deepest formal, perennial, permanent and territorial values, through the handling of scale and size, meaning itself as an object on the landscape, pointing out as an unique building.
It was adopted two volumes of different heights, resulting in different spatial readings, developed in a process of composition, by addition of volumes of elementary geometry that corresponds to different uses, raising the Romanesque debugged and humble.
The shape of these volumes comes from the archetypal image of single-family house, repeated longitudinally. This design has divided the functional program in two different levels, in order to articulate the level of the entrance and the natural slope of the terrain. By an outside observation of the volumes of the house, it is possible to guess the program since its geometry reveals their different uses. The manipulation of the different heights in the inside contributes to the introduction of some programmatic ambiguity and ensures a plausible picture of the whole.
