Ballona Wetlands, once a thriving environment, now a channelized creek and full of trash, with only a few areas still remaining as wetlands.

This project proposes to be a landscape buffer, and learning center. Through a series of platforms it recreates the types of wetlands on each, starting from the top, high marsh, down to the ground level, the low marsh.

The platforms use water that is from the channelized creek and then it filters down throughout the platforms, and then it filters and replenishes the ground floor plane. This program is intended to help bring the water from the creek back to the wetlands as well as creating platforms for people to walk on and explore-understand how the wetlands work as an eco-system
