The proposed project is designed to reflect the architecture that surrounds the High Line. It was also designed to relate to the High Line by taking some qualities that the High Line itself already exhibits. The structure consists of a couple of rectangular prisms that constantly intersect each other. These prisms form levels within the structure, which are then connected by stairs. The TKTS ticket booth is located on ground level and is under the High Line. Areas of rest are set up on the ground level as well as the two upper levels. The second level houses a small commercial space. The third and final level makes its connection to the High Line.

This assignment’s goal was to create a staircase system that would serve as the city’s connection to the High Line park. The site was the corner of 10th Avenue and West 26th Street.
