The competition consisted of
designing a referent building
in the city of Athens near the
Parthenon. The building had
to have a strong conceptual
idea to become a new icon for
the city. The design consists
on an elevated disc that sinks
into the floor in reference to
the roman sculpture of the
olympic sport "Discobolo".
