The medical office building project located on East 75th Street is a state of the art facility for the Hospital for Special Surgery. The building was an existing parking garage and has been retrofitted for a multiple story medical facility. The exterior, designed by Murphy Burnham and Buttrick Architects, acted as an envelope for different types of functions per floor. The new facility consists of a new MRI room, multiple x-ray rooms, exam rooms, conference rooms, doctor offices, treatment areas and recovery bays
