Suburban Transformation is a proposal for a home renovation in Leeds, MA. The design for this project was completed during a Crafting a Sustainable Design Lens course I took at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. The client of the project is a family with two young boys looking to expand the existing 1950's ranch. The main objectives for the project are resilience, efficiency, and sustainability in the design. The renovation is designed to improve the house's performance while fulfilling the owner's requests. The homeowners intend to renovate their home within the next 5 years.
