Mass Memory is a basalt monolith balanced on the edge of the Barranca in Guadalajara, Mexico, craved from the ground on which it is perched. A series of viewing shafts activate the building mass, recomposing and calibrating the history and attributes of the Landscape and Urbanscape from the precisely framed views.
