The site was located along the southeast corner of Rome in front of the Tuscolana Train Station. The program called for improvements to the site that would activate social spaces as well as spaces for amenities needed in the neighborhood. The amenities were distributed along the perimeter of the site so that the social space could be created in the center like many traditional Roman Piazzas.
