For the purpose of the 29th summer Olympic Games Beijing 2008, this International Competition for Concept Design of Beijing "City Landmark" 2008 is organized by Beijing Municipal Planning Commission as authorized by Beijing Municipal Government. The "City Landmark"Concept Design Competition has received 208 entries from all over the world,then 16 entries in the finalist after the Primary election since July of 2005.Beijing Municipal Planning Commission selected top 6 entries as The Prize of Excellence in the Final Election.
