The Bleacher Building is a combination of CMU, poured-in-place concrete and metal frame with stucco structure, situated in a narrow site between the existing football field and tennis/basketball courts. The new structure was intended to replace the existing prefab metal bleacher system.

The bleacher side will provide approximately 3,000 seats for the football games, track events and graduation ceremonies at El Monte High School.  The building will also provide much needed concession areas, storage and team rooms under the stadium seating.
