A group competition based in Rome, Italy to design a significant monument celebrating Italy's 150th anniversary of unification in and around Piazza Venezia

Our group's spatial monument was a celebration of the festive Italian tradition of hanging flags, lights, and streamers between buildings for special occasions, and the everyday acts of string laundry up between windows.  Buildings are joined together as the Italian city states were, creating a unified front, while preserving their own individual characteristics.
