The Village Vets projects is that rare opportunity where there is an enlightened client and developer. The Village Vets have made a clear commitment to the city of Decatur and its urban context and streetscape. They hired Lightroom to design the state-of-the-art clinic, a 24-hour emergency hospital, and an office suite. We designed the custom furniture, graphic identity package, art glass, and light fixtures by incorporating digital manufacturing techniques in collaboration with the general contractor. We also incorporated numerous sustainable design principles to reduce the impact on the earth and reduce energy costs.
