This project consists of an in-depth case study of the Ring House, a recently constructed, single family home by Takei-Nabeshima-Architects (TNA) and serves as the starting point of an investigation into housing. A basswood and cardboard model was constructed in addition to plan, section and axon drawings. Diagrams visually explain the essence of the house, which is extracted and employed in the design of the Four House project, located on the facing page.
