Innovation Lab

The Innovation Lab is an 80,000 square-foot facility modeled after the MIT Media Lab, with the intent to promote innovation by housing multiple independent research teams under one roof and to encourage the cross-pollination of ideas through social and cultural encounters, exchange, accessibility, and integration. Symbolizing an intersection of  industry's leading innovators and the intellectual resources of Washington University, the project is situated on the corner of Brookings Drive at the intersection between the Washington University Campus and Forest Park, adjacent to the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum and Walker Hall, both designed by Fumihiko Maki in 2006.
