Casa RV | RV House
This project represents a deep anaysis on human interactions, family tradition and the evolution of function over form. The design consists in three objects joined by bridges. One object is designed to locate the parents and the family interaction, another for the children and the last one for the educational and artistic activities.
Living, kitchen and dining faces the south and garden, as well as the studio, tv room and main bedroom. This accomplishments allows to have a great orientation and ventilation.
The whole concept is based on simplicity of forms and immediate reference to the structure and how it is built. For instance, the volumes on top are structurally designed to be an apparent truss of more than 40 ft long with a joist system. Apparent concrete walls support the steel structure and work as containers for seismic loads
