This small gallery space is designed to hold five pieces of art by Gerhard Richter. It is called Transformation not only because it is connected to the idea of transforming the found object, in this case the existing street grid, but also because the building highlights various transformations that occur through time. The facade frames views of nature which change with the seasons. The facade also acts as a media wall that transforms each time the museum hosts a new exhibit.
