This project links artifice and nature on the Emory Oxford College campus. Interstitial space and structure play active, though varying roles, in the process of learning, producing, and consuming. The site will be divided into weak building programs and strong building programs. The structure will provide a level of hierarchy; programmed as classrooms, offices, and studios. The interstitial zones will deterritorialize space; being places for informal meetings, lectures, displays, and performances. This structure will create authentic encounters with nature, nodes of knowledge transfer, and places of repose.
