As project manager for this 'Rancho' that was rebuilt following the 2007 Cedar Fire in San Diego County, I became familiar with the clean aesthetic that simple, careful detailing will create.  Also, the use of natural light and native materials and color schemes create a welcome, homey environment.  The clients were delighted with the quality of their 'rebuilt' home, and love the fact that charred timbers from the fire were used as decorative elements to connect the home with its painful past.
