Gallery

A gallery created exclusively with distorted planes, designed to accommodate a 6’ human model at 1/4”=1’-0” scale. There is one entrance and one exit, creating a single path through the gallery. The composition consists of two larger gathering spaces, each with two adjacent solitude spaces, three transitional spaces, and thresholds at the entrance and exit.

The gallery’s transitional spaces are designed to limit view of gather spaces to enhance anticipation and surprise. Bifurcation was incorporated into the project, creating enclosure.  Schematic depicts gallery’s elements.
