Pinhal Novo defines itself has a rural city with signs of anomalic transformation. Transformation generated by the excess of housing development inserted in a mostly rural site. The site was transformed into a dormitory satellite that colides with the remains of a rural city, defining an unclear frontier between the two. The limit, as a specific location became a way to find a solution to the city. This limit is to became the “spine” of the site, it will concentrate living and services together as a unique living unit. This way, the solution is to create a continuous line that separate but also articulates the two kind of livings that define this city. This builted line contain merchandise but also schools and public spaces at ground level. For the private living, high towers with different heights are built, emerging as icons and also as a mean to proportionate a urban scale notion. As a conclusion, this work as the objective to present a possible solution that tends to solve not only a master plan drawing but also to solve a quotidian living as a mean to bring the sense of harmony to this forgoten city.
