This project, designed in the fall of 2009, is a proposed bike/ski shop located off of the north entrance of the Dequindre Cut, in Detroit, off of Gratiot Avenue. The form of the structure manifests from an existing, graffiti covered, retaining wall and folds itself to create and surround the interior program spaces. The graffiti on the exterior of the structure is inspired by the on-site graffiti art.
