A process of Impregnation & Cementation Description of project " Bacteria [MASONRY]" Think Space | Partial-Total Ecology "YUmen[eco]tec-pharming"

Eco-Terms: The process of ecology calls for a system of self-maintenance that all species, energy and substance keep a general balance. Adaptive, transitory and flexibility are all keywords to give a definition. For our human beings, the arbitrary of ruling everything for singular purpose shall give place to mutual benefits to all species evolved. It is an attitude of change. Rather than artificial mass-production scenarios, we need to efficiently take advantage of natures creations. Therefore, An ecological process is developed under these terms. Bio-process: 1. Site 1.0 The system is developed a deserted atmosphere. The goal is to construct an ecological system, negotiating between the harsh environments of the sea of sand and the Co-Existance of bacterial infrastructure and Human Populations. 1.1 The system has an ability to expand and shrink, due to changes of population, supply capacity and other issues. 1.2 In desert, the system shall need to migrate from time to time. 2. Robotic 2.0 The Robot is delivered as an agent of construction. Its behavior triggers the beginning of the eco-process. It is in constant battle for its continuity and distribution. It is constantly searching for something it cannot find. 2.0.1 The Robot tunnels inside the desert. The Robot expands inside the sea of sand, creating trajectories while impregnating the sand with a live agency of bacteria with a regulated food supply. The food supply is a byproduct of humans waste, thus creating a feedback between the Bacterial colonization and human occupancy. These tunnels are used as the axis for system expansion. 2.0.2 The body of the machine sprays Bacillus Pasteurii; a bacterial microorganism that is transported to the location and begins to colonize and solidify the loose material particles as it multiplies. 2.1 Robot is always exploring and navigating the direction of expansion. It is never satisfied, and powers itself by searching for higher heat sources. 3. Self-Construction 3.0 By a biological reaction, loose sand particles are turned into sandstone, a durable structure capable of holding the shelter. The process of cementing shall be continuous. 3.1 Bacillus Pasteurii spreads similar to Slime mold with a muto-genetic branching logic. The trajectory creates morphology of what could perhaps be conceived of as a shelter or new territory. The densities and the substances of the sand are both factors to influential to the constantly evolving and dying geometries. 3.2 The initial reactions are hardened within 24 hours. 4. Establishment + Protocol of Architectures 4.0 As the wind filters the loose sand, the hollowed sandstone structure merges to the surface and ready to be occupied by humans 5. Maintenance 5.1 The waste from everyday production can be used as food to feed the Bacillus Pasteurii. 5.2 As long as Bacillus Pasteurii is feed, it can hold the structure against erosion. The shelter is capable of habitation. 6. Necrotic Behavior 6.1 Collapse is also in the procedural chain in order to achieve flexibility and efficiency. 6.2 Without feeding, Bacillus Pasteurii will die out and with it the old shelter structure, returning civilization a possibility of nomadic behavior, which was instinctive in human behavior since the birth of existence. Resultant Schemas: The tunnel by the robot is the based structure of the whole shelter system and the tunnel can be used as axis. Based on different shape, volume and location, the hollowed room can be used for various functions. By controlling the food, people can relocate Bacillus pasteurii and consequently alter structure local geometry. Globally, people will be forced to adjust the fragmented city''s size and location. While the cluster is moving forward, everything take from the earth is returning back to the earth. This shelter has fully used nature creation and ecologically improves its efficiency. Conclusion: The tafoni structure like shelter is result from both global artificial control (robot trajectories and food distribution/supply densities) and local natural construction (chemical reaction and substance status). Inside the manipulation and calculation embedded the uncertainties and irregularity. Also, this is a system of migration, flexibility and sustainability. With the balance and coexistent relation between Bacillus Pasteurii and human beings, the process of spore masonry is an endless eco-process and more.
