• Assumed project architect role for new 14,800sf, $3,200,000 branch library facility at design development phase, when it was already over-budget,  behind schedule and required a quick turnaround; continued in same role through project closeout
• Brick and natural stone on block construction on a sloped and heavily wooded site; heavy timber construction at the main library space with pitched ceilings and a 34' clerestory at the main library space; designed to take advantage of and reduce the building's impact on the sloped and heavily wooded site with views of the rural landscape
• Working with and directing other team members, coordinated and compiled contract documents, including detailing custom millwork service desks, stone fireplace, built-ins, window assemblies, and interior wood features; coordinated work with FF&E specifier and spec writer
• Represented the firm at progress meetings; reviewed estimates, bids, and submittals; performed typical construction administration duties, including field inspections and reports, proposal requests, and official letters; approved subcontractor pay requests
• Project nominated for 2006 AIA Huron Valley design award
• Additional work for client includes planning, design, and preliminary drawings for new 27,000sf Buckeye branch (shown in last image), acting as Project Coordinator through Design Development
