The fragmented buildings of the genomics complex are formed to create valleys for wind circulation. The glazing system of the atrium facilitates the flow of air via the use of double panned glass on windward facades for the circualtion of interstitial air for heating during cooler seasons and cooling during the summer. The climitized air within the glazing is then released into the building through the use of suction generated by air flow over leeward facades.
