Nathaniel M. Stanton SE AIA - Structural Engineer for the Millennium Wing Addition while working at Robert Darvas Associates.


Design:  
The Grand Hotel is the Grand Lady of Mackinac Island in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The Millenium Wing Addition marked the first time that a non-wood structural system was employed at the hotel. The addition was a steel frame with light gage infill. The scope of engineering included the design and documentation of the addition.
