Preservation as Provocation

Linking seemingly paradoxical elements by creating harmonious connectivity both functionally and socially elevates awareness, inspires creativity, and encourages interaction, communication and discourse. This was achieved by puncturing static work and live spaces into fluid green and communal spaces, thus preventing any disconnection from the whole and increasing engagement to existing buildings. Through this method, circulation patterns become transitional rather than directional, thereby blurring the distinction between inclusive and exclusive, and fostering a receptive, supportive  environment. Reconsidering traditional functions of circulation allowed for the celebration of the journey and the variety of social interaction.
