Erickson has been changing the face of age 65+ living, creating communities that have all the necessities of life in one place.  MKW has worked on a number of these campus-like communities using a design vocabulary that links all neighborhoods with a common identity.  Each neighborhood maintains its own special character using pathways, plazas and garden spaces.  I worked along side team members through the entire design process into the construction phases.  After my fellow colleague went on leave, I managed all aspects of the project from site visits, client meetings, to interacting with Architects, Engineers and Contractors.
