Reconfigurable Multi-Use Furniture Piece
Comparable to a Swiss Army Knife which contains several tools in a small volume, this prototype project proposes that multiple furniture programs can be inserted into a thin frame. The functions of chair, table, bookshelf, and bottle opener nest themselves into the frame in different laminations. Milled plywood components are layered with laminated and dowel connections. Dowels allow for the rotation of these pieces to change the function supplied by the frame.
