The Beach House is approached by way of a long narrow lane through a thickly wooded site. At the end of the lane, the house stands in a clearing at the edge of a bluff some fifty feet above Perdido Bay. This intervention acts as the horizon between earth and sky, between the romantic and the cosmic.
