I was the Project Architect for this multi-stage small theater.  The slanted and curved surfaces were achieved using simple materials and construction techniques, and establish the structure as well as the form, which arose from the building's function.

The facility contains a 97-seat Flexible Proscenium Theater and a 66-seat Recital Hall/Dance Studio.  Acoustics are tightly controlled.  The Recital Hall has become a popular jazz venue.

The landing of the main stair is designed in such a way as to become a small stage for a string or jazz trio during intermissions.
