The structure and the roof are embodying the idea of a tree that creates a canopy and provides shelter to the production line and to the office employees. This approach came as a result of trying to integrate the building systems (structure that serves as a drainage and water recycling system, as well as natural ventilation and daylight systems).
Along with the main idea there is the intention that the building is part of the surrounding environment and the site through the fluidity and seamless transition between indoor and outdoor space.
The building is organized in three functional zones.
The first zone is the curing rooms and offices that is giving the vertical mass piece to the building.
The second zone is the production area which is characterized by motion and activity.
The third zone is for delivery and pick up of raw materials, of finished goods and includes large interior product storage yard.
