This is a residential tower designed to optimize natural ventilation, sun angles, and views. It is part of a larger mixed-income community, Yesler Terrace. The site's market-rate tower, seen here, is appropriately named The Zephyr because the building's design centers around the goal of optimizing natural ventilation. A skip-stop circulation system was implemented in order to ensure cross and/or stack ventilation for each unit.
