Thesis project, studio titled "Spaces + Places". An investigation into infrastructure in Los Angeles and the "residual" spaces that they create. The site is centered east of Downtown Los Angeles concentrated around the rail yards and warehouse blocks along the LA river. These spaces were photographed, diagrammed, and critically examined as potential places which can be re-assigned for public use through adaptive design strategies.
